  • Knitters Connection

Today was such an awesome day. I attended the Knitters Connection held at the Convention Center in Columbus. I took an all day class, learning to knit a Beaded Panel Vest, by Judy Pascale. Oh my gosh, is it a gorgeous pattern. I didn't get that far, but I can't wait till it's finished. I'm also can't wait when Judy mails me her NEW Cattail pattern. It's fabulous ;0) Close up of Border

I was also suprised with my goodie  bag was for being a member of the Knitter's Connection. The annual membership fee is only $10.00, and I got a bag packed with different kinds of yarn, and a couple of pattern books ( one is a Debbie Bliss). I just can't wait to dive in, and try the yummy yarns out. Actually I already started using the Berroco Comfort Sock, for my vest. Goodie Bag 2

In addition, I just finished my May bookmark. It was Entrelec, and I have to say it wasn't that bad learning. It's one of those things that looks complicated to learn, but very easy once you get the hang of it. I made 2, to try different patterned sock yarns. Plus, I think I'm going to make more for gifts. It's such a lovely pattern.
