Loudonville Streetfair Results
mine is the middle one
Earlier this week, I dropped my stuff off at the Loudonville Streetfair, and just picked them up earlier this evening. For the first time to exhibit there, I managed to get 1st place with all 5 entries and my beautiful beaded vest got Best of Show. I've been excited all night, especially when this is the 1st Best of Show I have ever received with any of my knitting projects, anywhere. I took my usual projects (vest, blanket, and shawl) , plus a few others. The others are a knitted turtle, and a crossover scarf. The turtle is knitted with Berroco Comfort and Lion Cotton Ease. All the yarn was already in my stash, which is a huge plus, and will find a nice home one of these days (I may just keep it for myself, like a guardian of my yarn stash) lol.
The crossover scarf has been knitted a while ago, using Darice novelty yarn from the local Pat Catans, with fringe containing beads that match the colors in the scarf. It's a very fun scarf, and my boyfriend's cat loves playing with the fringe. Well, off to bed and dream of more knitting !!!
