What's Happening
Well, I've been busily knitting. I started on my Knotty or Knice Socks,(Interweave Knits, Fall 2008) with the Crystal Palace Panda Wool that I won earlier this summer, in the colorway Purple Violets. One sock is almost done.
I also made my 2nd kill in Olympic Yarn Smackdown, and going to start on my 3rd later today. My 2nd kill I used Berroco Comfort Sock in White. They turned out beautifully.
And today I just finished Winter Twilight Mitts (Interweave Knits, Fall 2008, web-exclusive Pattern) for my manager who is leaving, as a going away present. They turned out beautifully and will definitely make myself a pair. I used leftover yarn in my stash, Knit Picks Palette in Blue Note Heather, and Crystal Palace Panda Wool in Red Cinnamon.
Lastly, I finally finished my Tilted Duster, that seemed it took forever to finish. I've worn it a couple of times, and absolutely adore it. It will be used for next year's fair. Yay.
